Help Age India- visit to an NGO!

So this is what true happiness means! I experienced immense happiness by helping the needy and less privileged people. The credit behind this experience goes to my school D.L.D.A.V. Model school and HelpAge India organization.

We were a group of 5 volunteers who visited NGO on 5th June at Mahipalpur. There we helped some people in getting their breakfast, medicines, took some people to doctor for their regular check ups. Later we laboured ourselves in arranging medicines in proper way and doing some administrative work with their staff. At last when we were leaving we prepared glucose for each and every patient.

I enjoyed a lot their and we clicked some shots too. There I came to know about different phases of life, its not just about sleeping or sitting in AC and watching TV all the time. For the first time, I observed life with a different perspective.

My visit was an enjoyable and emotional experience. I feel proud to be associated with my School and HelpAge India!

  1. good to see you enjoyed so much.Half of the work of teachers introducing you all to this world is accomplished.I wish you good luck and appreciate if you continue to work and motivate other peer members of the school. Seema Agarwal school HelpAge coordinator

  2. It is really encouraging and satisfying to work for help-age. Its a real experience when we get to know about how other people in the world live? They donot even get half the ammenities we have and still are satisfied with it. They are far away from complaints and still are thankful to god. Its a lifetime experience for me.
