Our Impressions

Annika & Shakti, XI

OPPORTUNITY TO STUDENTS
Students are the future leader of the country and have special roles to play towards the society. Moreover we must cultivate the spirt of service from the very formative stage and helpage india is one such opportunity given to us by the school project.

HELPING HAND IN OLDER DAYS
As adults, transition into old age can be difficult for some people. It becomes more miserable when the elderly are no more accepted and entertained in their homes by their children making it difficult to cope with the old age adversities. HELPAGE INDIA is one such organisation that whole heartedly welcomes the oldies and nurtures them with care to live with hope and solidarity.

BRIDGING THE GAP
We are happy and delighted to be a part of this organisation working at school level. On the first day of the meeting session 2012-13 when our teacher coordinators mrs. Seema Aggarwal and Sangita Pallav talked about the agenda and working of this organization . At this very moment the fire was ignited inside us to work whole heartedly for such people. As it is rightly said that the world is a small family, वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् and we should live like a family maintaining its santity.
“A small gesture can work as bridge to fulfill this gap of generation.”

MILES TO GO
Well, it was an initial sweet experience but it must not end here. Rather, it was just a beggining step and there are many more to come. We are sure and hopeful to be able to succeed in all our contributions towards this section of society through helpage india. Any one who would like to be a part can update through this blog share n care DAV.
